Australia's First 200mph Dragster

Ash Marshall's Scorcher AA/FD blazed a trail through Australia's east coast drag strips

from 1968 to 1970. On February 1st 1969 Scorcher became Australia's first 200mph dragster

running 203.16mph at Sydney's Castlereagh Dragway. Scorcher changed hands many times

during it's long racing life setting numerous records along the way. Scorcher is one of a few

cars from that era still intact today. This website is a tribute to this immortal race car and

the people privileged enough to have owned it.
