California Hotrod Reunion 2008

Home

After our successful debut of Scorcher at the March Meet the next goal was to continue with the restoration complete with a running nitro burning 392 hemi. We wanted to take Scorcher to the California Hotrod Reunion in October and be the first Australian Cacklefest car. During the Winter months Dennis Young carried on with the restoration and finding rare parts needed for the hemi motor. Operating on a shoestring budget Scorcher started to take shape, read on and see what it took to get her there to Cacklefest..
